About KomraVision
KomraVision develops and sells KOMRA, a handheld near-infrared spectrometer with artificial intelligence that transfers the functionality of laboratory spectrometers into a portable device. The device operates in the NIR range from 900 to 2600 nm with a resolution of around 1 nm FWHM and a high signal-to-noise ratio, delivering material fingerprints for the identification and quality inspection of substances. Via a mobile app, users without prior knowledge of spectral analysis can analyze materials in seconds; results are also available offline without an internet connection. An in-app machine learning platform and an App Builder enable companies to create their own data models, which can be supplemented and shared via an in-app store. Application areas include quality and contamination detection in foods, extraction of nutritional and allergen information, and B2G applications such as detection of prohibited materials in customs and hazardous liquids at airports and railway stations.
