Pleasure manufactory since 1913

Konfitürenmanufaktur Alfred Faller GmbH is a family-run food manufacturer from Utzenfeld in the Southern Black Forest that has been producing preserves, jams, jellies, fruit spreads, fruit preparations, sauces, honey and muesli since 1913. At the heart of production is the traditional processing of small batches in four open, steam-heated copper kettles: around 100 kg of mass per kettle are stirred by hand and filled after 12 to 15 minutes of cooking time, preserving the aromas and colours of the fruit. The fruits and berries, including sour cherries, strawberries and elderberry, come from the Kaiserstuhl, the Markgräflerland and the Ortenau, partly in organic quality; stocks are stored in the company's own cold-storage facility. The company supplies food retailers (excluding discounters), hotels and health centres nationwide and has been shipping worldwide since 2019. The Utzenfeld site includes a factory outlet (Faller's Schwarzwald Lädele), a preserve world with a video screening room and café, as well as administration, warehouse and dispatch.
