The Company
KONOLD Härtsfelder Holzindustrie GmbH manufactures wooden doors and door systems at its Dischingen-Katzenstein site for commercial and residential construction. The product range includes smooth doors with RAL/NCS paint finishes, solid wood veneer doors, panelled and country-house style doors, glazed doors with glass inserts, vision panels, inlays, applications with grooved routing, as well as surface-mounted frames and door frames. In addition, technical door elements are produced, including KONPLEX fire protection elements (T30/RS, smoke-retardant and fire-retardant, fire doors), sound-insulated sliding door systems (Konold Hawa Porta Acoustics), burglar-resistant elements, radiation protection elements as well as round and segment arches. Custom-made products from a quantity of 1 are also realised. Materials are solid wood, solid wood veneer, chipboard and tubular chipboard, honeycomb inserts, CPL coatings and glass. The family business, registered in the trades register in 1954 and originating from a coachbuilder's workshop from the early 20th century, employs more than 150 staff from the region and is run in its third generation by Markus Konold. Sales are handled through the specialised trade.
