KONRAD HORSCH. manufactures one-off furniture and objects from solid woods such as oak, walnut, maple, ash, zebrano, bilinga and acacia. The range of services includes one-off furniture, interior and practice furnishings, exterior and outdoor furniture, landscape projects, play equipment, climbing walls and steel-wood combinations. An in-house sawmill breaks down old timber, such as half-timbered-frame oak, into various dimensions, which are then reused in new objects. Steel components, up to self-welded steel housings and heavy-duty glulam constructions, complement the woodwork; surfaces are partly adzed by hand. Reference clients include day-care centres, hotels, museums, clinics and practices as well as events such as the State Garden Show Zülpich 2014 and the IGA Berlin 2017. Workshop and studio are located in the Historic Factory Complex Maste-Barendorf in Iserlohn.
