About us

Konstruktion & Fördertechnik Kratzer is an engineering office founded in 1988 and based in Burscheid, specializing in individual and cost-effective special solutions in automation and conveying technology. The company produces complete designs in the operational areas of conveyor systems, special and heavy machinery, automation and equipment design, and in addition to the creation and dimensioning of complete systems also handles the entire project planning. Since 1992, complete solutions including component manufacturing through to commissioning of the systems have been offered; component manufacturing is carried out via long-standing partnerships with local manufacturing firms. System planning is performed computer-based in 2D and 3D using AutoCAD Mechanical and Inventor. A documented project example is a modular system for piston ring production with a conveying rate of 100 rings per minute, designed for 3-shift operation. The company operates in particular as a supplier to the automotive supply industry.
