About Konstruktion T. Eisenschmidt

Konstruktion T. Eisenschmidt (KTE) is an independent engineering office founded in 1996/1997 in Farnstädt (Saxony-Anhalt), with core businesses in high- and medium-voltage technology as well as the planning and implementation of renewable energy projects. Its services include concept development, 3D CAD design, multiphysical simulation (strength, thermal, flow, electric fields, arc fault pressure), prototype and sample construction, as well as testing and test support for switchgear, switching devices and high-voltage substations in accredited testing laboratories. KTE develops air- and gas-insulated switchgear up to 36 kV, cast resin vacuum interrupter poles and SF6-free solutions with nitrogen insulation. Customers include companies such as Siemens, Siemens-Gamesa, ALSTOM, Schneider Electric, EATON, VESTAS and Hyosung Corporation; projects have been implemented in Europe and Asia. Further focal points are wind farm planning, grid connection planning, expert reports, power quality measurements and the planning of battery storage solutions.
