About Konstruktionsbüro FRS
Konstruktionsbüro FRS GmbH, based in Neunkirchen (Saarland), is a specialized engineering office for vehicle restraint systems. Managing Director Martin Schlegelmilch, an experienced guardrail installation professional, supports building owners and state construction authorities throughout the entire project lifecycle: from driving the route and identifying hazard locations in accordance with RPS, through determining the containment level and working width, to tendering based on RAL systems or system-neutral specifications. The range of services includes the preparation of bills of quantities, construction descriptions, quantity surveys and preliminary cost calculations as well as technical planning documents in CAD. In addition, the office carries out construction supervision, provides assistance with acceptance in accordance with ZTV FRS 2013, and handles documentation. Product information is obtained from the Gütegemeinschaft Stahlschutzplanken e.V.; many years of cooperation with state construction authorities and installation crews enable practice-oriented solutions, including custom designs. Fees are charged in accordance with HOAI.
