About us
Kontron HARTMANN-WIENER GmbH (formerly W-IE-NE-R Power Electronics GmbH) was founded in 1959 and develops and produces electronics chassis, mainframes and power supplies for scientific and Mil/Aero applications. The portfolio includes catalog products for common standards such as NIM, CAMAC, VME, VXI and cPCI as well as custom-designed chassis and power supply systems. Products also include multi-channel low- and high-voltage power supplies that provide sensitive analog electronics with stabilized, low-noise DC voltage, as well as VITA 62 VPX power supplies compliant with MIL-STD. In the field of particle physics, the company has supported the CERN LHC experiments with radiation-hard and magnetic-field-tolerant power supply systems. In addition, modules for NIM, CAMAC and VME as well as spare parts and accessories are offered.
