Kordt GmbH & Co. KG is a factory for gauges and measuring tools based in Eschweiler. Founded in 1947 by Wilhelm Kordt, the company has since been producing gauges and measuring devices that minimize the influence of the operator on the measurement result. The product portfolio includes thread positioning gauges (AXICORD), measuring devices for the pitch diameter of ball screws (CORDASPHER/CORDISPHER), adjustable precision snap gauges (CORDAMETER), internal and external thread measuring devices (CORDITEST, CORDATEST) and thread depth measuring devices (CORDICHECK). The tools are predominantly made of steel and developed in-house, with computer-aided design and additive manufacturing employed in product development. The offering is complemented by DAkkS calibration, service, maintenance and repair of measuring instruments.
