KOREMA® GmbH & Co. KG (Kompensatorenwerk Rhein-Main) manufactures non-metallic (soft) expansion joints made of glass-fiber-reinforced elastomers in Weiterstadt near Darmstadt. The components are used in piping systems of industrial plants to dampen vibrations, compensate temperature-related length changes and torsion, and provide acoustic decoupling. Production is customer-specific single-piece manufacturing based on CAD drawings on an order-by-order basis, in dimensions and diameters without size limits. KOREMA offers expansion joints of the U-type, band-type and special shapes as well as fabric variants ELTROFLON® with ATEX certificates for electrical conductivity and SIMIFLON® with EU- and FDA-certified inner layers for the food industry. Customers include plant and mechanical engineering, power plants, the chemical, pharmaceutical and food industries as well as combustion and exhaust gas systems. The company supplies partners of German mechanical and plant engineering worldwide and additionally offers design, consulting and on-site installation of the products at the customer's premises.
