About Kores
Kores is a family-owned company for school and office supplies, founded in Vienna in 1887 by Wilhelm Koreska and now run by the fourth generation. The range comprises more than 585 products: glue sticks and liquid adhesives, correction products such as correction tapes and correction pens, markers, pencils, erasers, carbon paper, writing instruments, sharpeners, modelling clay as well as office accessories for the preschool, learning and studying, office, and hobby and creativity segments. In-house production takes place among others at Kores Europe s.r.o. in Strmilov in the Czech Republic (since 1996, including glue sticks and K-Markers) and at Industrias Kores de México. The holding company is Kores Holding Zug AG in Switzerland; the group headquarters is KORES GmbH in Vienna. Products are available in more than 85 countries; several developments such as the Scooter correction tape, the 2Way correction tape, the K-Pen and the Eco Glue Stick (75% renewable raw materials) are patented.

Quality and Awards
In 2014 Kores was awarded the Austrian Ecolabel by the Austrian Federal Ministry for the manufacture of environmentally friendly glue sticks; in the same year the brand was granted Superbrands status in the Czech Republic for the first time.
