About us

Korthals Schneid-Erodiertechnik was founded on 1 February 1986 in Quickborn and specialises in EDM and machining. The company produces single parts and series parts on ten wire EDM machines, two 4-axis CNC die-sinking EDM machines, as well as CNC-controlled machining centres for milling and drilling. All electrically conductive materials are machined; in wire EDM, EDM wires from 0.1 to 0.3 mm are used, with travel paths up to 400 x 600 mm and workpiece heights up to 400 mm at a 30° clearance angle. Start holes are eroded from 0.5 to 2.5 mm. In die-sinking EDM, travel paths up to 650 x 450 mm and a 16-fold electrode changer are available. Customers come from research, development and industry; in addition, external part programming during machining is offered.
