KORTHAUS has been a manufacturer of positive displacement pumps for the environmental and waste management industries since 1981. The company develops, manufactures and distributes products for the pumping of slurries – abrasive and viscous liquids, sludges and pastes. The product focus is on paste pumps of the KH series and rotary lobe pumps of the KD series as well as complementary products around the topic of pumping; in addition, KORTHAUS offers service and maintenance of its machines worldwide. Fields of application include agriculture, biogas, wastewater, waste management as well as industrial process industries including petrochemicals. The company, organised as the KORTHAUS Group, is led in its second generation by Senior Partner Dipl.-Ing. Ernst Korthaus and Junior Partner Doris Korthaus (M.Eng.), with locations in South Westphalia near Dortmund (West Site) and in Upper Lusatia near Dresden (East Site).
