KOSCHE Holzwerkstoffe GmbH & Co. KG in Much (Rhein-Sieg-Kreis) develops and produces components for interior fitting and outdoor applications. The focus is on wrapping technology for mouldings and profiles made of MDF and solid wood based on more than 600 decor foils and veneers; special profiles and surfaces are manufactured from a lot size of 1,000 lfm. In addition, the company produces wall and ceiling panels made of MDF as well as the Akustik Wall, an acoustic panel with sound absorption based on MDF of emission class E05 and formaldehyde-free adhesives. For outdoor applications, the group produces WPC decking boards under the Kovalex® brand, made from a wood-polymer composite with 70% wood content, as well as WPC skirting boards that have been awarded the Blue Angel. In addition to profile production, the value chain includes its own toolmaking for profile geometries, wood drying, digital and offset printing on decor surfaces as well as wood drying. Customers at home and abroad are supplied via the timber wholesale and specialist trade, the DIY sector, DIY stores, the prefabricated house and timber industry, and residential, office and commercial construction. Since 2013, Kosche has been part of the häussermann Group, a technology group with more than 300 employees at three locations.

The energy management system is certified according to DIN EN ISO 50001:2018 (ICG Zertifizierung GmbH, no. 140724E, first certification 2015, valid until 02.06.2027). Wood and wood-based materials are used according to the FSC (for 25 years) and PEFC standards; WPC skirting boards carry the Blue Angel; memberships include the Qualitätsgemeinschaft Holzwerkstoffe e. V. and the Institut Bauen und Umwelt e. V. (EPD).
