Second-generation family business
Koster AG Holzwelten is a second-generation joinery based in Arnegg near St. Gallen with around 55 employees. The company manufactures and installs certified fire protection doors of classes EI30 to EI90, fire protection curtains, flood protection and sound insulation solutions as well as interior doors and interior glazing – mainly for hospitals, schools, hotels, administrations and public buildings in Eastern Switzerland. The portfolio is complemented by relocatable partition wall systems from the partner feco, interior fitting and conversions up to heritage protection upgrades, as well as the manufactory products bogengut® (straight tabletops made from curved wood) and Myrai (marble wood). Production is carried out on a 5-axis CNC machining centre with a 7280 × 1650 mm working area combined with craftsmanship; domestic woods such as oak, ash, Swiss stone pine, Weymouth pine and curved wood are processed.
