About Kottonau AG
Kottonau AG is a Swiss family-owned company headquartered in Uetikon am See with a technical office and workshop in Stäfa. Founded in 1992, the company develops and manufactures custom inductors and adapters for induction heating, mainly from highly conductive copper tube and solid copper; for more complex geometries, additive manufacturing (SLM, FFF) is used. The portfolio also includes induction generators, controls (PLC, PID), pyrometers, flow and pressure sensors, and automation components. Simulation-based optimization of heating processes with COMSOL, feasibility studies, heating tests, rental of induction systems, and service and maintenance complement the offering. Customers include companies from the steel industry, surface technology, research, wastewater treatment and recycling technology, and automation; products are delivered worldwide.
