About Kovalent Coatings
Kovalent Coatings is a manufacturer of ceramic nanocoatings based in Western Sydney, Australia. Born out of a passion for automotive detailing, the company develops advanced coating formulations based on highly pure silica nanoparticles, boron nitride, graphene reduced oxide, silicon dioxide and silicon carbide. Every batch is formulated and manufactured in Australia, enabling consistent quality control. The product portfolio includes Borophene Coating (9H+ hardness, up to 10 micron layer thickness, 9-year durability), Graphene Matrix (7-year warranty), the marine coating Revive (20–50 nm silica nanoparticles, VOC-free), the aviation system FLYT, Prolong 9H Ceramic Coating as well as glass, fabric and matte surface products. The products are tested through accelerated weathering, salt spray and thermal cycling tests and validated in practice on real vehicles. They are used by professional detailers in the automotive, marine, and aviation industries as well as commercial applications; with a presence in over 10 countries, Kovalent Coatings supplies customers worldwide.

Materials & Formulations
Silica nanoparticles (highly pure)
Foundation of the ceramic coatings, e.g. 5 nm (Borophene) and 20–50 nm (Revive) for hard, hydrophobic layers.
Boron Nitride
Enables 9H+ hardness, extreme heat resistance and dense single layers in the Borophene Coating.
Graphene (reduced oxide)
Component of the Graphene Matrix for high thermal resistance and protection against UV and environmental influences.
Silicon Dioxide
Highly significant component of the Graphene Matrix formulation for hardness and resistance.
Silicon Carbide
Reinforces the matrix of the Graphene coating for wear and chemical resistance.
Aluminium
Substrate for marine and aviation coatings (Revive, FLYT).
Gelcoat
Typical surface of boats and aircraft, protected with Revive and FLYT.
Glass
Substrate of the Glass Coating with water-repellent, abrasion-resistant effect.
