KR Maschinen GmbH, based in Dülmen, manufactures sweeping and cleaning machines of the HEITMANN brand for equestrian facilities as well as agriculture, forestry, municipal services and the construction industry. The portfolio includes mounted sweepers, turbo brooms, battery-powered slat cleaners, electric transporters of the Heitrac series, feed pushers, arena planers and weed brushes. The machines are produced in-house on a modular kit system and in cooperation with regional metal fabricators; customer machines are individually configured and fitted with suitable mounting frames for almost any carrier vehicle. Steel parts are shot-blasted, cathodically electro-coated (KTL) and powder-coated; hot-dip galvanized steel constructions, cast parts, aluminum and plastics such as Vulkolan and polyurethane are also used. Since 1996 the company has sold HEITMANN products via direct sales; around 90,000 machines clean yards, roads and stables throughout Germany and Europe.
