About Krah
Krah GmbH is a family-owned company based in Schutzbach in the Westerwald region, which has been developing and producing the Krah helical extrusion technology for the manufacture of large-volume plastic pipes since 1968. With a single Krah machine, pipes from DN/ID 300 to DN/ID 5000 mm can be produced: profile pipes for gravity applications, solid-wall pressure pipes, low-pressure pipes as well as fittings, manholes, tanks and special applications made of polyethylene (HDPE), including PE 100 with structured wall according to DIN 16961. The seamless, smooth and inspection-friendly inner surface features an integrated socket for electrofusion pipe joints. In addition to machine manufacturing, including in-house produced auxiliary machines for complete pipe production halls, Krah offers engineering services such as technical calculations, feasibility studies and custom pipe systems, as well as comprehensive turn-key support from financing assistance through training to know-how transfer. Projects have been realized, among others, in Peru (deep-water discharge of the Taboada wastewater treatment plant, DN/ID 3000) and Argentina (drinking water supply Buenos Aires, PE 100 DN/ID 3600 mm).
