Krahl-Messtechnik is a sole proprietorship founded in 1993, based in Bovenden near Göttingen, and supplies quality measurement technology for the manufacturing industry, institutes and public institutions. The core competence is the rapid determination of residual moisture in plastics: the in-house developed rapid moisture analyzers SRK-10 (0.001 % or 10 ppm display accuracy) and SRK-100 (0.01 % or 100 ppm) measure granulate, powder and plastic parts within a few minutes using infrared technology – without chemicals. The devices are primarily used for process control after drying, in incoming goods inspection and in quality assurance; the K-M-DataConnect software records measured values directly in Microsoft Excel. The portfolio is complemented by the LADeasy density measurement system (0.001 g/cm³), moisture and TS (total solids) meters, precision and analytical balances up to 70 kg, as well as consumables for moisture/TS determination and ashing. Services include installation, instruction, test measurements on site, maintenance and calibration with certificate, as well as maintenance contracts. Sales are handled through regional representatives in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, the Czech Republic and Hungary.

Quality and calibration
After a location-specific inspection and calibration of the moisture meters including a reproducibility test, a calibration certificate is issued; maintenance contracts ensure regular checking. With a special test routine, the measurement accuracy of the SRK devices can be tested at any time.
