About KRAIBURG Relastec
KRAIBURG Relastec GmbH & Co. KG is an independent company within the KRAIBURG holding, headquartered in Salzwedel. Every year, the company processes up to 60,000 tonnes of recycled material such as end-of-life tires, technical rubber materials and rubber trim into new finished products made from recycled rubber granulate. The products are sold under the company's own brands: DAMTEC for sound and vibration insulation in construction and rail, KRAITEC for construction protection and safety mats, EUROFLEX for fall protection and playground accessories, SPORTEC for sports flooring and elastic layers, KARGOTEC for anti-slip mats for load securing, KOMFORTEX for elastic flooring systems in horse keeping, and SHIELDTAC for ballistic rubber systems. The secondary materials are sorted, granulated and processed into products for the construction industry, logistics, sports and leisure facilities as well as educational institutions. With KRAIBURG Circular, the company also offers in-house recycling of end-of-life products made from rubber granulate. Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) are available for many products; according to the company, the use of recycled rubber granulate saves more than 130,000 t of CO2 annually compared with new rubber.
