KRAIBURG Walzenfertigung GmbH is a company of the KRAIBURG Group and has been manufacturing rubber-covered rollers in Austria for over 40 years, serving almost all industries. The portfolio comprises complete rollers with roller core and rubber covering, rubber covering of rollers and wheels, rubber-covered GRP sleeves for flexo and gravure printing, polyurethane coatings as well as rubber hoses and rings, including mandrel coverings for the steel industry and feed rings for the ski industry. Roller cores are manufactured from steel, stainless steel, aluminium, titanium, GRP or CFRP either to customer specifications or based on in-house design proposals; the rubber coverings are applied using high-quality rubber compounds produced in-house. In addition to new manufacture, the company offers recovering of worn rollers and sleeves. The surface programme ranges from standard grinding through polishing and superfinish to crowning and grooving. Customers include companies from the paper, printing, film and packaging, wood, textile, electronics as well as steel and metal industries.

Silicone
Used for rollers requiring heat-resistant or abrasion-resistant coverings.
Polyurethane (PU)
PU-coated rollers are characterised by extreme abrasion and cut resistance as well as high chemical resistance.
Steel
Material for roller cores according to customer specifications or in-house design proposals.
Stainless steel
Core material for rollers with requirements for corrosion resistance.
