About Krapf & Lex
Krapf & Lex Nachf. Verkehrstechnik GmbH & Co. KG has been developing and producing air filter systems, ventilation grilles and pressure protection solutions for fresh and exhaust air systems in rail vehicles for over 50 years. The portfolio includes multi-cyclones and cyclone filters for dust separation, snow filters, water protection systems and pressure protection systems for high-speed trains. The components are used in air-conditioning and ventilation systems as well as in cooling air systems of locomotives and passenger coaches. Production takes place in Roding (93426) and includes metalworking with welding robots, adhesive bonding processes in accordance with DIN EN 17460, painting and final assembly; design with 3D data and samples is based in Weiden (92637). To support integration, the technicians accompany customers from consulting through to final implementation. The company supplies international manufacturers and operators such as Alstom, Stadler, Siemens, Hitachi, Deutsche Bahn, ÖBB and SNCF and, with a delivery reliability of over 95 percent, has been fully digitally organized under ERP control since 2025.
