About Krause Maschinenbau
Krause Maschinenbau GmbH is a mechanical engineering company based in Ostermünchen in the area around Rosenheim. The company was founded by Peter Krause as a classic mechanical engineering firm and has been developing customized solutions for industrial applications for many years. In 2003, business operations were completely converted to the development, patenting and expansion of the nanofractor technology: a size reduction process based on the interference of sound shock waves that works without mechanical friction and impact effects. The process is patented in Europe, North America and other industrialized countries. The product range includes the nanofractor laboratory machine (approx. 200 kg/h), the ecopulser industrial machine (approx. 5 t/h, approx. 40 kW) and the ecopulser-twin with a throughput of around 10 t/h. Areas of application are fine grinding of mineral substances such as limestone, feldspar, power plant ash or silicon carbide, fibrillation of organic materials such as wood chips and maize silage, and the processing of residual materials such as composite packaging and cable remnants. In addition to machines, the company offers tests with customer material, PLC control construction, commissioning and on-site service.

Materials and Processes
Size reduction with shock waves
Patented process based on the interference of shock pressure fronts, which crushes material without solid-body friction and converts well over 90 % of the supplied energy into size reduction effect.
Organic substances
Wood chips, forest wood chips, bark mulch, seaweed and maize silage are fibrilated and broken down along their fibers.
Mineral substances
Quicklime, limestone, feldspar, power plant ash, blast furnace sand, quartz sand, silicon and silicon carbide are crushed to grain diameters below 3 µm.
Residual materials
Composite packaging, recycled wood, refuse-derived fuel, medical waste, screen_rubbings, spit materials, cable remnants and circuit boards are separated and sorted to be sieveable.
PLC control construction
Development, construction and programming of machine and plant control systems based on existing circuit diagrams.
