Krause Maschinenhandels & Service GmbH, based in Achim near Bremen, has specialized in sawing technology since 1989. The company trades in new and used sawing machines and complete systems, focusing on the Behringer, Behringer Eisele and KASTO brands, and operates its own workshop with warehouse at Desmastrasse 3-5 in Achim. The service portfolio includes on-site repair and maintenance (mechanical, hydraulic, electrical), retrofit and machine overhauls, gearbox repairs, repair and replacement of control panels, construction of new electrical control cabinets, assembly, disassembly and machine relocation as well as thermographic and electrical inspections in accordance with DGUV Part 3. Roller conveyors and conveyor systems are manufactured in-house; smaller spare parts are produced on a conventional machine fleet. In-house developments are the mobile center drilling machine Mobile Quick Centering (30–500 mm diameter) and the center punching device Simply Center Punch (15–400 mm diameter). Customers come mainly from steel trading, mechanical engineering and structural steel/metal construction, including Klöckner & Co, Thyssen and Interfer Dortmund. Over more than 35 years, around 20,000 service assignments with approximately 170,000 working hours and over 1,700 brokered machines have been documented.
