Krauss Präzisionstechnik GmbH is a supplier of precision turned parts and automotive components based in Kinding/Haunstetten (Bavaria). The company produces turned parts on CNC single-spindle lathes in three-shift operation as well as milled mechanical engineering parts on automated production lines in 24/7 continuous operation, including 5-axis simultaneous milling on Hermle machines. In addition to machining, mechanical engineering parts and wear parts are manufactured and system components are assembled. The process chain includes CAD design with Solid Works, CAM programming with Mastercam, sawing on a Kasto band saw, trowalizing (vibratory finishing) and 3D metrology on Zeiss coordinate measuring machines with U-Soft and Zeiss-Calypso. Customers are primarily from the automotive industry and mechanical engineering. Quality management is certified to ISO 9001:2015 and VDA 6.1:2016.
