Krauth + Timmermann Elektrostimulation GmbH specializes in medical devices for Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES). Since 1984, the Hamburg-based company has been supplying patients with prescribable medical aids for the rehabilitation of peripheral and central paralyses. The multichannel stimulators of the KT Motion, KT Move, KT Parese and KT Neuro product lines as well as the Paresestim device activate paralyzed muscles via adhesive skin electrodes and support the relearning and new learning of motor functions. The products are continuously further developed in cooperation with the manufacturer MEDEL – Medizinische Elektronik Handelsgesellschaft mbH at the Hamburg site; findings from national and international research projects such as More Grasp and TOBI are incorporated into the certified medical devices. The devices are used in inpatient and outpatient settings in hospitals, rehabilitation centers and practices as well as in home therapy. In addition, the company offers consulting, instruction, in-house training, maintenance, repair and loaner devices as well as billing with payers. The medical devices are certified according to DIN EN ISO 13485.
