About Kreativdepartment
Kreativdepartment is a family-run metal construction and mechanical engineering company in Höchstberg in the Volcanic Eifel, founded in 2016 by Peter Michels. The company, with 16 employees, supports projects from development and 3D-CAD design in Inventor and prototype construction all the way to series production and assembly of complete systems. Welded assemblies, frames, jigs, special machines, agricultural components, and metal structures such as stairs, balconies, and railings are manufactured; welding is performed using MAG, MIG, WIG, and arc hand welding. Clients come from special machinery manufacturing, plant construction, agricultural technology, chemical industry, defense industry, and hydrogen development. The office and production facility are located in the same building, allowing design and production to collaborate over short distances. The series production ranges from single pieces to large series without a fixed upper or lower limit; over 500 components are manufactured annually.
