About Kreutzkamm

The Conditorei Kreutzkamm is a family business founded in 1825 in Dresden, now based in Munich and run by the sixth generation. The company handcrafts Baumkuchen, Christstollen, gingerbread, gateaux, petits fours, pralines, tea pastries and breakfast specialties according to traditional family recipes – without preservatives, semi-finished products or convenience items. The Baumkuchen is baked layer by layer on parchment-wrapped rollers in front of an open flame and, depending on size, is made with 10 to 25 layers, glazed or coated in dark chocolate couverture. Ingredients such as flour, eggs and dairy products are sourced from the Munich area wherever possible; the packaging also comes almost exclusively from Bavaria. In addition to production in the bakery on Kastenbauerstraße, Kreutzkamm operates cafés in Munich (Maffeistraße, Pacellistraße) and Dresden (Altmarkt-Galerie) as well as a baking school in Dresden. A worldwide shipping service delivers to private and business customers; personalized petits fours with a company logo or motif are produced from 18 pieces.
