Family-run plant engineering for fruit processing
Kreuzmayr Maschinenbau GmbH, based in Wallern an der Trattnach (Upper Austria), manufactures machines and turnkey complete systems for fruit processing and fruit juice production. The product range includes large bin tippers, washing and milling systems, de-stoning and pulping machines, stationary and mobile belt presses, pasteurisation systems, filling systems (bottle and bag in box), citrus lines, drying cabinets and jam cooking kettles. 100% of production takes place in-house, predominantly in stainless steel (1,000 t per year), supplemented by aluminium and food-grade plastics for conveyor belts. Equipment includes an automatic laser cutting machine, CNC lathes with driven tools and welding machines from Fronius. A development department with six design engineers creates customised special solutions. Customers are cider and juice wineries, cooperatives and agriculture; sales extend across Europe as well as to Canada, South America, Australia/New Zealand, Russia, the UAE and Africa. A second production site in Wolfsegg with a press house is used for customer tests, contract processing and development.
