Krinner GmbH is a family-owned company founded in 1990 by Klaus Krinner in Straßkirchen (Lower Bavaria), now in its second generation. It started with the patented Christmas tree stand with all-around single-cable technology, which has since become the market standard. The product idea of ground screws led to the founding of Krinner Schraubfundamente GmbH in 2004, a time- and cost-saving, ecological alternative to concrete foundations. With these ground screws, the company opens up professional fields of application, in particular the mounting of photovoltaic systems, on which the Krinner Solar systems are based. Further product families include the cordless Christmas tree candle Lumix (since 2006) and the cordless Christmas lighting based on it. Around 230 employees work at the company headquarters in Straßkirchen; the products are demonstrably in use in Germany, Europe and the USA.
