KRIWAN Industrie-Elektronik GmbH develops and manufactures electronic and sensor solutions for the protection and condition monitoring of machines and systems. The product portfolio includes motor protection relays such as the INT69, multifunctional relays, temperature sensors (PTC screw-in and winding sensors, Pt100/Pt1000/NTC), optical level sensors, oil level regulators, oil differential pressure sensors, voltage and current relays, wind sensors, airflow sensors, gateways and frequency inverters. The products are manufactured in Forchtenberg and, before delivery, each unit is fully automatically tested. Housings and sensor elements are made of, among other materials, stainless steel, anodized or powder-coated aluminum and glass-fiber-reinforced plastics such as PA or PC-ABS. The main fields of application are HVAC/R (compressors, refrigeration systems, heat pumps and fans), the water and wastewater industry, wind power and photovoltaic systems, building services, cranes, ropeways, electric motors and explosion-protected areas (Ex). An in-house test center for EMC testing and environmental simulation complements development and production. The corporate group includes foreign subsidiaries in France, Austria, China, USA, Italy and Brazil.
