KRÖGER Greifertechnik is a product brand of Metzen Industries GmbH and has been developing precise, robust and low-maintenance grab solutions for industrial lifting applications for over 50 years. The portfolio includes rope, motor and hydraulic grabs, which are individually adapted to crane systems, materials and operating environments through different drive concepts – mechanical, hydraulic or electrohydraulic – as well as various designs. The services range from consulting, conceptual design, development and structural engineering to machinery and plant engineering, manufacturing, assembly and after-sales service. Fields of application include seaport and inland port handling, the extraction of gravel, sand, stones and earth including dredging to great depths, the circular economy with waste incineration, waste-to-energy, refuse-derived fuels and sewage sludge, as well as grain handling. The grabs are characterized by modular construction, adaptable geometries, low-wear materials and low-maintenance joints, and are designed for 24/7 operation under extreme conditions.
