Krombach Optik Wetzlar GmbH was founded in 1927 and manufactures planoptical components and optical assemblies from raw glass and bar glass, including Ohara bar glass. On 2100 m² of production and office space in Wetzlar-Naunheim, the entire value chain from blank to finished optical product is covered. The range of services includes blank manufacturing (sawing, cut-off grinding, sawn blanks and CNC-milled blanks), optical contacting, mirror coating as well as measurement and testing. Using state-of-the-art CNC machining equipment, one-off productions and series parts are produced. In addition, repair services and contract work (reworking and correcting customer-supplied optics), consulting and contract management are offered. Customers come primarily from the optics and precision optics industry.
