About Kromberg & Schubert Cable & Wire

Kromberg & Schubert GmbH Cable & Wire (Kroschu) is a manufacturer specialized in cable development and cable production and part of the internationally active Kromberg & Schubert Group. The company develops, designs and manufactures standard and specialty cables for the automotive and vehicle industry as well as for sectors such as Automation & Robotics, Energy & Infrastructure, Sensor Technology, Medical Technology, Electromobility and the Food Industry. The core of production is the cable plant in Rhede with more than 200 employees and an annual output of around 200,000 km of cable; a further cable plant in Taicang, China, was opened in 2019 to implement the local-for-local concept in Asia. The product range includes custom specialty cables, vehicle cables (KROCAR®), coiled cables (ETIRO®), high-voltage and charging cables (KROcharge) as well as cable sets. The material base ranges from PVC, PE and TPU to silicone and elastomer materials and fluoropolymer insulations such as PTFE, PFA, FEP and ETFE, complemented by in-house material development and crosslinking facilities. An in-house testing laboratory accredited to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 (KROlab) supports development and production. OEMs supplied include Daimler, VW, BMW, Audi and Porsche.
