Kroneisl-Stahl Handels GesmbH is an owner-managed steel sheet wholesaler founded in 1989 in Linz/Ebelsberg, with headquarters and main warehouse in Linz (Upper Austria). The company supplies industrial processors with steel sheets in common and special grades as sheets (300 x 300 to 2,000 x 6,000 mm, 0.30–25 mm), slit strip and slit rings (10–599 mm width, 0.10–8 mm) as well as coils (600–2,000 mm, 0.30–20 mm), complemented by stainless steel, perforated sheet and steel tubes. The material is purchased directly from European steel mills, particularly in Italy, Germany and Eastern Europe; a substantial share of revenue comes from drop shipments ex works without intermediate storage. In addition, Kroneisl-Stahl offers warehousing (approx. 10,000 t permanent stock at nine warehouse locations in six EU countries), just-in-time delivery, intermediate storage for call-off contracts, advance financing, cut-to-size blanks in special formats, and documentation with inspection certificates. Customers include companies from HVAC system construction, office furniture, containers, switchgear cabinets, agricultural machinery and elevator construction. With an export share of 71% (2018) and supply partners in 13 countries, its home market is established in Central and Eastern Europe.
