About us
Kronseder Maschinenbau GmbH is a medium-sized mechanical engineering and metal processing company based in Alteglofsheim near Regensburg. The company manufactures metal and plastic components to drawing and sample, from individual parts to series production. Its manufacturing capabilities include CNC turning (bar capacity up to 60/80 mm, chuck parts up to 300 mm, turning lengths up to 1500 mm), CNC milling in 3- and 5-axis configurations, conventional machining, EDM drilling from 0.5 mm diameter, sawing, punching and notching with 55 t punching force, as well as TIG, MIG and MAG welding. Complementary services include vibratory finishing and glass bead blasting, while processes such as electroplating, hot-dip galvanizing, anodizing, electropolishing and hardening are carried out by contracted partners. The portfolio is rounded out by assembly work from single-piece to series assembly, parts storage and parts management, as well as custom-made products. Customers come from industry, the trades and the end-consumer sector; an in-house product is the stainless steel boot scraper.

Materials and processes
Steel
Processed among other things in punching and notching (notching up to 8 mm material thickness).
Stainless steel
Used in punching and notching (up to 6 mm) as well as for the company's own boot scraper.
Plastic
Part of the offered metal and plastic processing to drawing and sample.
CNC turning
Manufacture of turned parts with bar capacity up to 60 mm, chuck parts up to 300 mm and – with driven tools and sub-spindle – up to 1200 mm turning length.
3- and 5-axis CNC milling
Milling technology with travel of 1200 x 400 mm (3-axis) and sizes up to 500 mm (5-axis).
Welding
Welding shop for all suitable materials with certified welders holding completed welding qualifications.
EDM drilling
Hole diameters 0.5–3.0 mm to a depth of 150 mm, burr-free.
Punching/Notching
Punching force of 55 t for flat profiles up to 10 mm material thickness.
Surface treatment
Vibratory finishing and glass bead blasting in-house; galvanizing, anodizing, electropolishing and hardening via contracted partners.
