About Krüger & Sohn

Krüger & Sohn GmbH is a manufacturer of laminated composites based in Landshut. The company emerged from Ing. Alfred Krüger & Sohn KG, founded by Alfred Krüger in Berlin in 1926, which shortly after the discovery of phenolic resin began producing small hard paper tubes. After the production facilities were destroyed in the Second World War, Hans-Joachim Krüger rebuilt the business near Landshut from 1946; production has taken place at the current site on Robert-Bosch-Straße since 1954. In 1999, in the course of a business demerger, the present Krüger & Sohn GmbH was founded by Volker Krüger. The product portfolio includes the phenolic paper materials Krüpax, the phenolic fabric materials Krütex, and Krülit based on epoxy glass or silicone glass. The materials are used, among other things, in electrical engineering as well as in mechanical and tool engineering.
