KS-Aufzugsservice GmbH from Oberursel in the Rhine-Main region plans, manufactures, installs and services elevator systems for a wide range of applications, including passenger, hospital bed, freight and fire brigade elevators. The systems are individually planned and engineered according to each customer's requirements; the service portfolio includes consulting, development, new construction, retrofitting into existing buildings, refurbishment and modernization, as well as maintenance with maintenance contracts. For new elevator construction, the company operates its own metal processing facility with punching and laser cutting on a Trumpf Trumatic TC 600 L, bending on Hämmerle press brakes, CNC engraving milling, welding (MIG/MAG and TIG) and sandblasting. Materials processed include steel, stainless steel, galvanized steel, special steels and aluminium (AlMg3). Customers include hospitals, for which hospital bed elevators have among other things been implemented, as well as operators of public buildings.

Stainless steel
Can be punched and laser cut up to 4 mm thickness; also weldable (MIG/MAG, TIG) and suitable for door sills under heavy loads.
Aluminium (AlMg3)
Can be processed up to 3 mm thickness on the punching/laser combination machine; also used for door sills under light loads.
Galvanized steel
Material for door sills of freight and goods elevators under heavy loads.
Special steels
Special steels weldable by MIG/MAG and TIG processes for special applications.
