About KSE-Lights
KSE-LIGHTS GmbH, based in Ennepetal, develops and produces mobile and stationary luminaires for explosion-hazardous areas as well as for industry and institutions. The portfolio comprises helmet lights, hand lights and room lights including charging technology and accessories, with a focus on ATEX-compliant products under Directive 2014/34/EU. The starting point of the company's development was a helmet light weighing less than 150 grams for explosion-hazardous areas; today, more than 40,000 products are sold annually. The products are developed in-house and produced in Germany or with local partners; housings are made of aluminium or glass-fibre-reinforced high-performance polymer, and power is supplied by high-quality Li-ion rechargeable batteries. In addition to product development with research, prototyping and design, the company offers ATEX consulting, lighting design for industrial plants, a repair service and distribution via a webshop as well as dealer networks in more than 20 countries. Customer industries include mining and tunnelling, technicians and service, rescue and emergency responders, civil protection as well as industry and institutions.
