The company emerged from Otto Giebecke and can look back on more than 100 years of history in raw materials trading at the Schleswig site. Its core business is the purchase, processing and sale of steel scrap, metals, waste paper, cardboard and solid waste for recovery. On the company premises, delivered secondary raw materials are systematically separated and further processed; for processing steel scrap, a scrap shear with 600 tonnes of cutting force is available, and waste paper and cardboard are baled with a modern baler after pre-sorting. Further services include the disposal and recovery of solid waste and demolition materials, boat and yacht scrapping, end-of-life vehicle acceptance and dismantling, and certified initial treatment of waste electrical equipment including electric motor recycling. With its own vehicle fleet, container and skip service, KSH Schleswig serves customers from industry, commerce, trades and private households across Europe and worldwide.
