KSK Stahl System Technik (SST) is an owner-managed, mid-sized manufacturing company in Brandenburg an der Havel and part of the KSK Group. The company specialises in the manufacture, repair and assembly of high-performance and easy-to-maintain water-cooled welded constructions, in particular water-cooled pipe constructions and components for electric arc furnaces and flue gas cleaning systems. Production is mainly in steel, with a focus on welding processes such as TIG welding as well as assembly services. Its customers come primarily from the energy-intensive melting and recycling industry. Originally founded in 1995 as SSB Stahl-System-Bau GmbH, the first workshop team was recruited from the maintenance department of the Brandenburg electric steel works. Since the brand repositioning in 2022, the company has operated under the name KSK Stahl System Technik.
