KSS Service GmbH, based in Lambach, Austria, develops and manufactures the BikeGroovy bicycle washing station – a bike wash station for bicycles and e-bikes based on low-pressure cleaning technology. The compact unit is made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel and combines hot water, dosed detergent and low washing pressure into a gentle cleaning process that does not damage even sensitive e-bike components, brakes and bearings. Water consumption is only 1.8 litres per minute; an integrated oil separator and sludge collector separate oil and sludge from the wastewater, and the biodegradable detergent Groovy Berta completes the sustainability concept. The unit is modularly configurable: optional modules include compressed air, flow water heater, dosing pump, splash guard, oil separator, roller holder package, compressor and mobile versions on four wheels. Payment is made via coin counter or cashless by NFC with card, phone or smartwatch; individual branding and customisation of construction, language and design are possible. BikeGroovy embodies 25 years of pioneering experience in cleaning technology and industrial systems. Customers include hotels, health resorts and campsites, municipalities, cities and tourism associations as well as bicycle workshops and rental stations. Distribution for Germany, Switzerland, Norway, Sweden and France is handled by the partner WINTERSTEIGER Sports GmbH in Ried im Innkreis.
