About KTW Carl Stahl

KTW Carl Stahl GmbH is a system partner in special machinery engineering based in Friedrichshafen. The company develops and manufactures load-handling attachments, lifting equipment, lifting gear, hydraulic clamping fixtures, assembly fixtures and handling systems as well as automation solutions such as robot systems, gripper technology and rotary-indexing assembly systems. In addition, design and project engineering services in all development phases, control technology including electrical planning and PLC and robot programming, as well as CE documentation are offered. Manufacturing of components to customer drawings is carried out via a structured network of certified operations; the products are functionally assembled at KTW and inspected on a 3D measuring machine. The service portfolio also covers worldwide commissioning, maintenance, servicing and spare parts sales. Customers come mainly from manufacturing technology and automation. In 2025 the family company, founded in 1987, became part of the Carl Stahl Group.
