Kubatec Kunststoffbautechnik GmbH, headquartered in Troisdorf, specialises in the manufacture, processing and installation of plastic apparatus, containers, shafts, custom components and their piping. The range of services covers plastic pipeline construction in PVC, PP, PE, PVDF and GRP from OD 10 to DN 3600, individual container construction with storage systems up to 500 cubic metres, plastic apparatus construction as well as special fabrications of all kinds. Processes include heated tool butt welding up to OD 1600, extrusion welding, underground pipe pulling, pipe network installation according to DVGW, relining, sewer rehabilitation and geothermal piping including earthworks. In addition to production, Kubatec offers structural calculations according to DVS 2205, design, planning, leak and pressure tests, drinking water disinfection, repairs and temporary staffing of skilled workers under the AÜG (Employee Transfer Act). Customers come, among others, from the chemical industry, energy supply, wastewater treatment plants, landfill operations, municipalities, the automotive industry, electroplating and environmental technology. Founded in 1986, the company today employs around 75 staff, making it one of the larger providers in plastic engineering.

Founded in November 1986 by Thomas Meyer in a garage; initially pipeline installation for chemical companies.

Move with 15 employees to Josef-Kitz-Straße 14 in Troisdorf after successful projects, including a project in Spain.
