Kühnreich & Meixner GmbH was founded in 1951 in Frankfurt am Main and specialises in the manufacture of special measuring and control instruments. The portfolio includes glass level gauges with non-contact measurement acquisition, redox sensors for determining the redox state of glass melts, thermocouples, Pt-100 temperature probes, measuring sections for combustion air, gas and oil, as well as special valves, control dampers and ball valves. In addition, the company develops and manufactures systems for the automatic monitoring and control of glass/basalt melting furnaces and industrial furnaces. The instruments are used in the container and flat glass industry, in the production of glass and mineral wool, and in industrial furnace construction.
