Künzel is a medium-sized plant and machinery engineering company based in Kulmbach, Bavaria. Founded in 1922 by Wilhelm Künzel, the company plans, manufactures and installs systems and components for the first production stage in breweries and whiskey distilleries, known as "From Malt to Mash". The portfolio includes mills (grist mills, adjunct mills), cleaning systems such as destoners and flat screens, conveying technology with bucket elevators, screw and trough chain conveyors, dedusting systems (case filters), intake and storage solutions, weighing systems, explosion protection equipment as well as utilities such as pneumatic slides, magnets and samplers.
