Kukdo Chemical Co., Ltd. is a South Korean chemical company founded in 1972 in Seoul and the first Korean manufacturer of epoxy resin. The product portfolio comprises epoxy resins, hardeners (including phenalkamines), polyurethane and polyol systems, acrylates, reactive diluents as well as electronic and specialty resins such as EMC (Epoxy Molding Compound), ACF, UV system resins, high-purity resins, CCL/FCCL resins and polyimide. For composites, resin systems are offered for infusion, hand lay-up, filament winding, pultrusion, prepreg and RTM/HP-RTM/WCM, including for wind turbine rotor blades. In addition to bio-based epoxy resins and bio-polyols, the company holds ISCC-PLUS and ISO-37001 certifications. Its main customer industries are coatings, adhesives, wind power, automotive, aerospace, shipbuilding, construction, electronics/semiconductors, batteries, sporting goods and defense. Production and logistics are handled through plants in Iksan, Busan, Siheung and Hwaseong as well as subsidiaries in Kunshan and Ningbo (China), Dahej (India) and sales companies in Chicago (USA) and Hamburg (Germany). Products are exported to more than 60 countries.
