KUKUJE GmbH is a manufacturer of dog cheese snacks founded in 2020 and based in Elmshorn near Hamburg. The main product is CHURPI, a vegetarian hard cheese chew snack made according to traditional recipes and processes from the Himalayas. Production takes place in Elmshorn using quality milk from farmers in the North German region, without artificial additives and without added sugar. The Nepalese team processes the milk by hand: the cheese is packed into jute sacks, pressed and dried over several months before the wheels are cut into various sizes and stored. In addition to the Churpis in three standard sizes, the product range includes other snacks such as Cheese Crunchies, cold-pressed cheese chunks, Crispy Cheese Sticks as well as soft and long-lasting cheese treats. The products are vegetarian, gluten-free and lactose-free and are sold through the company's own sales channel as well as via Amazon.
