About the association
Kulturzentrum Hof – Alte Filzfabrik e.V. is a non-profit association operating a venue for art and culture in the former Bavarian wool felt factory in Hof (Moschendorf district). The project originated from the idea of a band rehearsal room center that would provide young musicians with practice spaces at affordable prices. The association offers band rehearsal rooms, organizes concerts from genres such as metal, punk, indie and reggae, open-air events and readings, as well as workshops and networking meetings of the regional music scene, among others with the Hof concert promoter IN.DIE.musik e.V. It is supported by three initiators from the local music and subculture scene; the association is registered in the register of associations at the Hof district court.
